Aloha e! Iʻm Eileen DeMercer Lee, a Big Island native, Kohalaʻs very own, born and raised in the famous ahupuaʻa of Kokoiki, birth place of Kamehameha the Great.  Since 2003, Iʻve enjoyed my residency in Kamuela, with my husband of 20 years and my three children. I am also tethered to the beautiful island of Hawaii, for life.  Iʻm a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapalama and the University of Hawaii Hilo with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology.

Work Experience

My real estate knowledge is based on a fusion of intense passion and continuous education, while working with an excellent, ʻohana (family) oriented, real estate team. One of the milestones of my life has been the purchase of land and the construction of my own home, while juggling motherhood and making ends meet. My husband and I realized our dream of homeownership when we were driven "to be creative" and "think outside of the box." Whether a first time home buyer or seasoned real estate investor, my clients are na hoaloha pulama (treasured friendships). It is my greatest pleasure in sharing in the excitement of fulfilling otherʻs dreams of home ownership while providing exceptional guidance through the single-most, largest purchase and milestone of most peopleʻs lives!

He la nani keia! (Itʻs a beautiful day!)

Facts about me

Iʻve enjoyed the best of two worlds: my mother is a Minnesota native and full German descent, my father a local boy and of Hawaiian and Japanese descent. Nearly all my summer swimming lessons as a child took place in St. Paul, Minnesota in the indoor and heated pool of the College of St. Catherineʻs! Iʻm also a sand dweller married to a surfer. My hobbies include walking, yoga, relishing magical sunsets and starry nights, enjoying the most beautiful beaches in the world on Hawaii island with my family and am truly a product of the 80ʻs music and movies, thankfully not the hairdos or fashion! Iʻm intrigued by classic car shows, and moved by simple ʻolelo noʻeau (wise sayings) and moʻolelo (Hawaiian folklore/stories).  My children have inspired me in recipe modifications, making recipes with non-dairy alternatives and healthier options. Iʻm a parent of a prospective Eagle Scout, hula dancer and a hip hop performer!
